July Events 1

July 6: I'll be presenting AWE Heritage Series http://tr.im/n938 at the Southbank as part of the London Literature Festival (with Helon Habila & Cameron Duodo). It's a totally new initiative, elevating African literature from the clutches of cliched opinions so please, please come and support it.
July 7: My launch party at Cosmobar, Clerkenwell Road - from 7pm
July 16: I'll be performing some poetry at London Liming: http://tr.im/q80a - also as part of the London Literature festival
July 17: African Writers' Evening in its Covent Garden home (Poetry Cafe) featuring Laila Lalami (Morocco - who we're flying in from California) and Sulaiman Addonia (Ethiopia/Eritrea). I will also be unveiling the UK version of my sell out US pamphlet, Ballast - now named, Ballast - a remix.
